Versatile Mimaki JV5 Series wide format inkjet printers
The versatile JV5 Series is known for pairing extraordinary speed with remarkable color clarity. JV5 models are available in 64- or 129-inch widths and can accommodate either solvent, aqueous pigment or dye sublimation inks (model-dependent). High speed printing of up to 668 SqFt/Hr is enabled due to a staggered, 4-printhead arrangement for a wider print swath. A three-way intelligent heater dries the ink for faster throughput. Uninterrupted Ink Supply System is standard and a Bulk Ink System is optional.

Versatile in many ways
The JV5 Series is versatile in many ways – choose the size you need and the inkset to fit your workflow. Whatever configuration you select, you’ll get consistent, high quality output on a reliable platform.
Three inksets available
Select Mimaki SS21 eco solvent inks for outdoor durable applications that can also be used indoors due to low VOCs. Or choose aqueous pigment inks for producing economical indoor prints. If textiles are your specialty, the dye sublimation inkset can print to low-cost paper transfer media.
Uninterrupted Ink Supply System
When printing in CMYK, JV5 Series printers can be configured with two ink cartridges per color. Utilizing the UISS (Uninterrupted Ink Supply System) when one cartridge is emptied, the printer automatically switches to the full cartridge to deliver continuous imaging.
Uniform Media Drying
A Mimaki-patented, three-way intelligent heating system results in uniform ink drying across the width of the printer, assuring even image quality.
Media Feed System
Media is transported evenly without being affected by the varying weight of the roll, eliminating banding caused by irregular feeding. The JV5-320 model is equipped with both a heavy-duty media feeding system and a convenient small take-up device.
